As a flooring option, pradoo is a very hard and durable wood and is nearly identical in hardness to santos mahogany, just under fifty percent harder than hard maple, and a tad more than two thirds harder than red oak. Durability & Preservation : Rated very durable and resistant to termites. Heartwood extremely resistant to preservative treatment, but does not require it generally. Untreated timber under most severe conditions lasts more than 12 years.
